whaaa happened?

actually, the title isn't quite accurate. should be more like "hair today, more tomorrow, but not for a couple of months".

got a haircut tonight and told Jason (my guy) that i'm almost ready to grow it out again. not full on ponytail, as i had for many years, but something different. a little bit longer. i just wanted to plant the seed in his mind so he could think on it for a couple of months before i'm ready to make the ugly but inevitable transition from shorter to longer hair.

short has been great - so easy to manage, but i've had this for a couple of years now and, being superstitious about silly things, i think that maybe my shoulder will get better if i have a different hair cut.
