they're teasing me and it's just cruel
it was bad enough when Torrey Mitchell broke both his left tibia and fibula (NOT his "tibula", as reported by TSN). it was a painful reminder of the GAB, though fortunately it's higher up his shin and no tendons/ligaments were damaged.
but then on my way to work yesterday, i saw that the west tennis courts were freshly resurfaced. not just resurfaced, but resurfaced with the blue color, just like at Arthur Ashe stadium. i've always wanted to play on a blue court.
instead of skipping out of work a teeny bit early to play some tennis this fall, i'll be leaving a teeny bit early to go to PT. haven't played tennis in over 2 years and that just makes me sad. now i'm sad and blue because of the blue. :-(
