whaaa happened?

sorry if the title makes it sound important. it is to some extent, but in the grand scheme of things, not at all. nevertheless, i ask you for your opinion.

i've been in the habit of painting my toenails teal (i like to call is Pacific Teal, specifically) during the hockey season to show my support for the Sharks (duh). i've done this for the past few seasons, and have now extended that to almost year-round since it makes for prettier toes when i'm wearing sandals. that being said, i think it's time for a bit of a change.

i just purchased some orange since it's a Giants color and also a secondary Sharks color. but now i face a decision: how do i integrate the orange?

1. orange dots on teal background. this didn't work well since the orange, while bright, looked more brownish with the dark background.
2. teal dots on orange background. this is what i have now, but i'm not sure if it works. to me, the orange dominates and i'd like more emphasis on the teal.
3. alternating solid orange and solid teal. haven't tried this yet because i'm afraid it will make the toes with orange look like they were chopped off at the phalanges.
4. your idea.

any ideas? opinions? this is my own little venue for an informal poll, and i'd appreciate feedback. thanks!

btw, yes, i am completely aware that it's a bad paint job. i'd like to use my wounded shoulder as an excuse, but quite frankly, it's just as bad when i'm completely healthy. :-)
