dis 'n dat
i'm still working on summaries of my trip to Italy in written form, not just in picture form. i finally sat my lazy self down yesterday in the midst of the heat and started typing. i'll try to get some of that stuff posted on here at some point.
in the meantime, the summer hockey season has started and i couldn't be more thrilled. i love my teammates, love seeing my friends who are on other teams, just love that i'm skating in games again. unfortunately, thanks to Mr. Shoveypants who rammed into my outstretched arm in Italy, my shoulder is still out of whack and sore. range of motion is back down from almost 95% but the only time I really notice it during hockey is when i fall in a weird way or when i'm pushing myself back up over the boards in Fremont. lucky for me, our most recent and upcoming games have been at Belmont where the boards are lower. but, i'm back to icing, resting, and TENS. i'm still too scared to go see the doctor for fear that he'll shut me down, so i'm just going to be a little irresponsible for a while.
the weather has brightened a bit and the sun is out more often. some upcoming family health appointment things that i am slightly worried about, but there's nothing i can do about them either way, so i'll just try not to worry so much.
work is good. a bit slow right now so i'm trying to catch up on some reading and writing in my notebook. boring!
okay, lunch time...

Don't tell Andrea. She gets all freaked out when I skate without my knee brace. So I just don't tell her. (I did fine at the 2nd Red session, eh?)
Hope it heals quickly. And that your appointments give no cause for concern.
