saturday happenings
this had better be a good storm (as long as i have power and there's no damage to homes, and as long as there aren't crazy accidents) because right now, instead of heading up to partake in Val's first skate, i'm up at work.
the good thing about being here is that i'm not sitting at home eating Jax. and i get to check on the Triops, who are now bestowed with names: Ben and Sucrose. Ben is lethargic and often likes to hang out in clumps of mold. he was given his name because our coworker, Ben, instantly declared his hatred for the Triops. Sucrose is generally much more active - swimming around, doing somersaults, and generally seems happier. this last note about being happier is of course very objective and does not represent the actual opinions of the Triops.
