whaaa happened?

after waffling back and forth about whether or not i'd go to Vegas, i was so proud of myself and excited when i decided to go. i bought my ticket, had my roomie, all that good stuff.

then the flu decided for me - no go. i started feeling crappy exactly one week before departure, but chalked it up to a hectic day at work - had to freeze down around 120 vials of cells. phew! felt all right the next day but then woke up on saturday with full blow flu symptoms. i missed the Sharks game that night, missed the Sharks game on wednesday. missed all of last week, so it was a good decision to stay home.

yes, i missed my friends and cheering for them as they Burninated, but it'll happen again next year and hopefully in May. after hearing about Gordo, Bandi, and Adam, i am already wondering what will appear in my bag (aside from mold, since it's been sitting for a while).

now, just have to get my shoulder healthy (or the doctor's confirmation that i can say "screw it, i'm gonna play anyhow") and i'll be ready for my bigger Burninator jersey. :-)
