whaaa happened?

at least i'm back to work 1/2 time today and tomorrow. spent this morning in lab and i must say, it was nice to be back. i was bored out of my mind this week (bored, yet tired).

good news on the shoulder: arthroscopic surgery only! they shaved off some of the acromion (bone) and inspected the rest of the tendons, which looked good. weird, given that the mri results indicated a tear, but hey, i won't complain. 3 teeny incisions that are pretty well healed and that's it. i've been to PT twice this week and have 2/week scheduled for another few weeks. i see the doc next monday and will get an estimated return-to-hockey date, because really, that's all i care about! i'm hoping 2 months but am cautiously thinking 3 or 3.5

so far i've got good ROM and strength for this type of surgery, so hopefully i'll keep healing that way. beginning with a nap, because i'm exhausted!
