whaaa happened?

it seems like it's been forever since i'd been to Monterey. yeah, i know, a whopping 3 weeks or something like that, but remember, this is me...

i went down on friday night and was greeted by Maddy, who immediately ran to get her favorite toy ("puppy"). we played and played, then Mads decided it was time for bed. i finally started to feel more human than not this weekend, and despite a persistent cough and runny nose, i'm happy to report that i'm on the mend. that being said, i would gladly take the cough and runny nose back if it meant that Val would get better. poor Ree.

so this weekend was mellow - did stuff around the house and finished another book. which reminds me, i need to update my book list!

played with Are Too! tonight and had a lot of fun. not the same without Mary and Bluepoof, but a lot of our players looked great together and i'm excited that it won't be 19 days before our next game!

came back to Santa Cruz to find that Gouda was in the middle of baking choco chip cooooooookies. mmmmmm.

off for one more round of ice, then to pick out a book to start!
