whaaa happened?

hard to believe that we're almost at that one year mark of ending Liz's A++ work of gestation! had a great time seeing da Ree on saturday - she is soooooo cute! i love showing off her pictures to my coworkers.

it's also hard to believe that it's almost time for phoenix burnination. and, yay - not going to miss any Are Too! games that weekend, so that's a bonus.

spent sunday in Monterey with Gouda and the folks for mom's day. we just took it easy and had a nice bbq lunch outside. Maddy had her first taste of tri-tip and i know she enjoyed it - her eyes sorta bugged out when she first tasted it, then she wanted more. it was that look of "oh my gosh, this stuff is good!"

played with Are Too! last night. we lost 2-1 but played really well. Marci tortured me all night. between her D and holding the blue line for her team, and scoring the game winner, she was a star. fun game, of course, except for me managing to further injure injuries. *sigh*

other news is that i called an end to things with B (whose name sounds like the end-of-period buzzer). just not working out - i know he was disappointed and i hate being the person to do it because it's always been the other way around. but, it's for the best and i hope he finds his way. oh, and i gotta find my way, too. ;-)
