animals xing
had animal encounters of various kinds on tuesday. saw mice throughout the day - not a shocker.
on the way off of campus, Gouda and i saw lots of deer, which isn't unusual. but there was one that crossed the street right in front of us. she was even smart enough to use the crosswalk! then, just as we left campus and headed towards town, a fox darted across the road in front of us. coming home from the Sharks game that night, a teeny little mouse scurried across the road on hwy 17. fortunately, all 3 animals crossed safely. i think the fox was the coolest one to see - simply because i see mice and deer all the time. and, it was a pretty fox! lots of greys (or is it grays?) and some white at the tip of the tail. very cute!
