wooooooooooo, truck o!
wow. i will direct you to Liz or Viv for more details of each game, but for now all i can say is wow. the Burninators were 3-and-out last year in Las Vegas and sure, while it was fun, it's always a little bit more fun to win. especially after the 2 OT + shuutout game in 2005. well, we won this year!
big big big BIG thanks to members of Black List for coming to cheer us on. that was so cool of you folks and it is definitely appreciated. at one point in our 3rd game i looked up and saw so many friendly faces watching from the stands and it gave me an extra boost. (nevermind that i didn't clear the puck out of our zone with 30 seconds left in the game, which ultimately led to the tying goal and had me on the verge of tears...)
got to spend lots of time with folks who i don't get to see a whole lot. saw lots and lots of Val, who is just the cutest little Burninator ever. she was great on the whole trip and is an expert at pulling straws out of cups. :-) my carpool buddies absolutely rocked, as expected, and Viv put up with me once again. though apparently the teeth-grinding has halted for now! yay!
thanks to all the Burninators for letting me be a part of this team. had we not won the championship (even though we DID!) it still would have been one of the best experiences of my life. pack every towel!
