more rain at the Open...
why is it that it always seems to rain at the US (tennis) Open? it must be the same jinx that is perhaps shared with the Pro-am golf tournament in Monterey.
anyhow, i'm glad the rain held off last night because i was able to enjoy a relatively quiet night at home by eating a corn dog (see you tomorrow?) and watching the Agassi-Pavel match. i've always favored Andre over Pete the Chimp, from the beginning until this day (even though the chimp doesn't play ATP events). bob loblaw, it was a really fun match to watch, especially because the right guy won. i hope he wins six more.
