whaaa happened?

came home from work today and as soon as i got out of the car, i heard a huge croak from my frog friend. that was the last straw. i came inside, put my stuff down, walked out to get the mail, all the while hearing mr. frog chirping away. on my way back i took a detour and found myself at my neighbor's house.

i had never met him before, but we had a nice conversation mostly revolving around how annoying these frogs were. they are living in a little aluminum tub that is filled with water and marshy weeds. i can't blame the frogs for wanting to be there - i imagine if i were a frog, it'd be a great place to be. i somewhat sheepishly asked if he had frogs for pets, and his response was "heck no, those things are driving me crazy!" well, at least we were on the same page. i'm still not exactly sure why he hasn't attempted to get the frogs out of his deck area yet, but he says he'll get to it this weekend. i sure hope so.

that's a good solution for me - the return of relative silence, with no frogs being harmed in the process.

oh, and for the record, there are now three frogs.
