whaaa happened?

i was leaving the house on wednesday and my neighbor popped his head over the fence and said "howdy neighbor!" i mentioned that it had been nice and quiet the past few nights and he just grinned. i thought that i might have heard a croak or two, but then decided that the sound was just reverberating in my head. he said that he pulled three frogs out of the tub he had on his deck. so, he put them in a jar and took a nice walk with his dog. they took the frogs to the little "creek" that runs down the middle of the main street near our housing complex. well, that night around 1:00 he heard more croaking. he ran downstairs and found 2 more frogs in the tub. he and the dog took them to the creek, and it's been silent ever since.

many thanks to my kind neighbor, whose name i still don't know but now feel like i've passed the period of time in which it's okay to ask him his name. anyhow, now that we're getting closer to summer, i'm sure our household members will run into each other more often. hopefully the frogs will stay away and they'll be happy where they are now.
