whaaa happened?

wooo, just had our first floor hockey game and we won in a shootout! not a 2OT + shuutout, but a 6-5 win.

the team we played was pretty cool overall, no jerk like #61 on the cheapshots. very strange things about this game: no skates, no puck. but still, quite fun! Samir, Justin, TQ, and Craig all scored, but we were down 5-4 with about a minute left. we pulled Gabe, our awesome goalie (his first game ever) and i ran in. TQ did a great job keeping the puck ball in the zone and after a shot from Justin, i think, the puck ball was loose in the "crease" and i backhanded it in. wooo, all tied up!

there wasn't enough time for sudden death OT, so we went to a shootout (again, not shuutout). our 3 shooters were Samir, Craig, and Justin (in that order). Samir had a great shot, but it went off the post. Gabe stopped their first shooter, then Craig put us on the board with a nice shot that went blocker side, i think. Gabe, goalie supreme, stopped the next shot and then my bro won it for us by going top shelf.

when we got home, i told Justin and TQ that the best part about winning tonight's game was that we weren't going to be winless this season. :-)
