0: the number of goals i scored in sunday's game. zero. ZERO! despite many chances and opportunities, Amy was absolutely en fuego during the first 2 periods. we mounted a comeback but lost 5-4. props to TQ for her hatty. apparently i'm just thoroughly incapable of putting the puck in the net.
went to the IHOPaulus for dinner after the game, and had the chance to prematurely celebrate Jennie's birthday with her. unfortunately, i won't be in town for her bday, but i'm glad i got to celebrate with her. also got to see Heather again, though we were on semi-opposite ends of the table, so i didn't get to talk to her too much. :-( good to see you though! also had the opportunity to meet the amazing Eric, who is just a sweet sweet kid.
the birthday celebration made up for the lack of our man Paulus, who was apparently out at a party. huh? ree? duuuuude, we were the party, and we missed you!
got home late, but am gearing up for burnination. i had a brief moment of freaking-out during the game when i thought i broke my right (a.k.a. never broken before) ankle, then realized that i just twisted it funny and all was fine. sore today with a weird muscle pull, but all is well. phew.

That's ok, there were 7 more of us with that big 0 chalked up to our names. It's all good in the end though. And I'm super glad you did not break your ankle.
You may not have scored, but you scared me plenty. As did many on your team. We just had The Force with us, I guess.
