i know, i've been very bad about posting lately. i'll put some of the blame on laziness - just not motivated to turn the computer on here at my folk's house, but most of the blame goes to this darn cold that i can't seem to shake.
yeah, the one that i've had for almost 3 weeks now. i'm glad i went to gretzky hour on the 21st, but truth be told, it was pretty stupid of me to go. i *thought* i was getting better, but that really just sent me into a relapse...stooopid me. hope i didn't get anyone sick in the process.
i've been resting here in Monterey, spreading my illness to my aunt and my dad. yup, to my dad, who is fighting it off as best as he can, but way to go, me. get your dad sick for the first time since his BMT. good one.
aside from feeling very guilty about getting my dad sick, i've been sleeping a lot, reading some (for fun), reading some for work and emailing back and forth with my boss, eating gooooood food, and not much else.
we usually have a New Year's day gathering at the house here, but had to cancel since so many of us aren't feeling well. harrumph!
it has been very nice to have Justin home for Christmas, though. finally, my family together for Christmas again!
