october 1 redux

started yesterday in boston by walking to Fenway for a 9:00 tour. I had been lucky enough to see a couple of games there over the years but the tour was great. we saw the .406 club (which will be much better when the glass is removed), the hall of fame club (filled with memorabilia that was eye candy) and the green monster seats.

the groundscrew was out getting the field ready and i got to see the patterns in the grass being touched up. i know, not very exciting to most, but me being me, i loved it.

we walked back to the apartment, loaded up a few last things, had lunch, and headed out. i knew it was going to be hard, but i didn't think it would be that hard. i waited downstairs (and cried) and when Justin came downstairs, we drove off.

i'm very proud of him for making a hard decision and following through with it. i don't know if i could do it.

we made it to Batavia, NY last night and now we're almost to Pennsylvania.

and, hopefully i'm back on the top (or near the top) of Viv's blogroll. =)
