hockey happenings
had green practice on sunday evening and had a fun time. it was good to see Liz again (welcome home, and allo!) and it's always fun hanging out with the folks in green.
unfortunately, i heard that Sue N. did indeed cut a tendon in her hand and had to have surgery - she's out until at least december, probably january. get well soon, Sue!
no Andrea at practice since she was still Down Under, but i received explicit instructions to nudge Jennie, Tiffani, Susan, and Brenda for her. i made good on nudging Jennie and Tiffani, but couldn't on the other two because they didn't show. :-( missed you guys.
while waiting in line during one of the drills, Jennie and i somehow got on the subject of me being Cheddah, and we wound up concluding that i don't have "hockey funk", it's simply mold. *grin*
we scrimmaged a bit at the end of practice, and right when we were lining up for a faceoff, i heard (how could you not hear it?) this "hi Cheddahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". i looked over to the bench and there was Viv!*grin* *GRIN*
later in the scrimmage, i looked up and there was Corey. allo, Corey!
i de-molded last night and just finished de-molding tonight after the AT2 game. we lost (6-2, i think) but it was a very exciting night for me. first, Andrea was at the game! not playing, but during warmups i glanced up and saw her on the other side of the glass. yay! i broke out in a huge grin and went to give her a big hug but then realized that the glass was there. exciting thing #2: got to play with Justin! it was a ton of fun - we got to play on the same line and wow, he's good! guess the talent in the family had to go somewhere!
i can't even describe how good it felt tonight looking up and seeing my bro out there. he's back home now and i'm glad that hockey can provide some fun for him during a tough time.
welcome home, everyone!

There is no such thing as "hockey funk", it is called P.O.B. Protective Odor Barrier.
It should be cultivated at all costs!
