whaaa happened?

this week has been looooooong but at the same time, i got to work this morning and realized it was already friday. how does that happen?

i seem to be mostly over this cold (knock on wood) but still have some symptoms that seem to be lingering: mild sore throat, mild congestion, and mildly fuzzy head. i'd rather have all of these symptoms be mild than raging, but it's annoying how they can just hang on for days and days.

no major plans for the weekend. it's weird without hockey, so one of my little projects will be to wash some gear. i'm still bummed that Tony's esporta washer are not yet up and running in their new location, because i have the perfect break to get this stuff cleaned. oh well. we'll see if Woolite and Tide can do the trick. the sun needs to cooperate, too, by breaking through this layer of fog.

aside from washing hockey gear, that's about it. this was supposed to be a big yard work weekend in monterey, but i'll see how much i'm able to do. at the very least i'll be able to enjoy my parent's company and my dad's new tv. :-)
