attack of the flies
there's this mysterious occurence of flies at work. not quite to the level of infestation yet, but close.
in my old lab downstairs, we worked next to a fly lab, so the presence of flies made sense. however, now i'm in a lab that has a virtually unoccupied lab next door, and the flies that are buzzing around near my desk aren't lab flies. they're little gnats.
i got so annoyed with them and wanted to know how many there actually were that i had eliminated. so i'm collecting them on a piece of paper on the window sill near my desk. morbid, yes.
of course, i took pictures, and even the "group" picture i have of the flies shows 6 of them. i'm now up to 8.
