whaaa happened?

well, the third time was a charm - fremont friday turned out all right. no major disasters, nobody saying hurtful things, nobody's health to worry about. yippee!

i left s.c. a bit early because i wanted to stop at an electronic's store to actually hold the 2 cameras i've been looking at - the nikon S1 and the canon sd400. i got to play with both and think i've finally decided on the canon. the thing that sold me the most was the 30 fps movies that it takes, whereas the nikon only takes them at 15 fps - and the compression makes the movies pretty grainy. i'm sure it'll be worth it - after all, i've gotta have a good quality camera for Axel movies!

i was energized and excited after making my decision (though of course, me being me, it's not a final decision yet) and was all ready for the game. then after a couple of shifts i just had no legs left. no jump, no spunk, nada. it was frustrating, but i worked on trying to do something with the puck instead of just immediately winging it up the boards or out of the zone. i accomplished this a couple of times, but i definitely had brain-fart moments.

now, i must go obsessively read camera reviews that i've probably already read 3 times.
