whaaa happened?

Giants game yesterday was awesome - kicked off by a very nice pregame ceremony to honor Robb Nen. i love pitcher's duels and will take one over a home run-filled game any day. i got my wish and saw Brad Hennessey, recently back up from the minors, pitch very effectively after a mildly shaky first inning. in all, the game was a 1 hr, 59 minute gem and a 2-0 Giants win was closed out by Tyler Walker, but only after he trotted out to "smoke on the water" in honor of Robb.

had a great time with my mom. we stopped at Amici's to pick up a pizza for lunch and it was great! my first Amici's experience, hopefully not the last. the weather was great - shorts and a t-shirt the entire game. woot!

didn't do much the rest of the night. puttered around the house, found out yet once again that there's nothing on TV on saturday nights, and tinkered with my fantasy baseball team a bit. i can't say i'm happy that i have 2 oakland a's on my team but at least they're not dodgers. they can't be dodgers if my team name is the DodgerHaters!

was going to go to Monterey today but instead i decided to sleep in and take it easy. plus, i don't really want to deal with traffic from laguna seca when i come home! off to run some errands, hopefully read outside, then watch the Giants.
