whaaa happened?

played at LoTech last night on the east rink - wow, that place is bright. the overhead lighting is oddly shaped - arranged normally but each light itself has lights that fan out and make it look like a cartoon sun.

the ice felt a bit slippery at first but i think that's because i'm not used to skating on good ice. maybe good ice always feels kind of slippery?

anyhow, it was a fun game. one of the players on the opposing team was his usual chippy self so it was a bit of a bummer that he was back - but the rest were fun to play against and would engage in friendly banter. i played with Sam and Corey - wow, they made me look so much better than i am! of course, Corey set me up with some awesome passes in front of the net that i completely fanned on. note to self: keep stick on ice, do not swing wildly at puck if the guy passing it is good enough to his me on the tape. Sam put two past their goalie, Vinnie and Ellaine added one apiece and we won 4-2. woo! thanks to Sam, i had 2 assistessessess last night - my first multipoint game in coed!

i'm supposed to be working now but instead am blogging and thinking of more lab circles that i can square...
