ack! spiders in my house, too!
hrmmm, all the spider talk from Viv has turned into me discovering more spiders than usual at my house.
i found 3 daddy-longlegs in one room today and fortunately i didn't need to even tempt fate and try to catch them with kleenex or paper towels - they were up in the ceiling corners, so they are now in my vacuum cleaner. then, i saw 5 itsy-bitsy spiders in the shower just now. which only means that they have siblings that are waiting to grow up and attack me.
fortunately, these haven't been really juicy spiders. i can deal (and even, at times, coexist) with a daddy-longlegs or two.
hopefully i won't have mice, ants, or flies in my house any time soon! er, that is, non-glass mice.

In your vacuum cleaner?! Didn't you read what Red wrote?! They're gonna multiply in there and eat your glass mice!
You should try being a gardener. I *like* spiders. I may ask them to move their webs from time to time, but they're welcome to catch stuff (whitefly, flour moths, craneflies, mosquitoes, etc.) at my place any day. :-)
ack! multiplying spiders...noooooooo!
if i had a real yard i'd love to garden. they can hang out there any time with their pretty webs, but not in my living space! oh, and when they can catch aphids, i'll be sold! (or can they do that already?)

ew, that reminded me...i was watering the plants yesterday morning and stood up quickly. my head hit a leaf on the avocado tree and when i looked closer, it was totally covered in webs. ewwww.
