DSL silence, continued...
the DSL saga continues. finally got officially disconnected yesterday morning, and for some reason i can't order new service until one week has passed. then after i order service, it takes another week to get it. *sigh*
we're looking at july 7 until i'm connected at home. how am i supposed to manage a fantasy baseball team that way? (for the record, i beat the first place team last week...woot!) pondering just going with a different ISP but that is a hassle and involves a wait, so i'll just be patient.
fortunately, a few of those days will be spent out of town anyhow so i won't be frustrated at home. heading to Monterey tonight, then the folks and i drive down to Carlsbad tomorrow. then on saturday it will be Carslgood as i will see Todd, Amy, and of course, Ollie! from there we go to san juan capistrano to visit my cousin and his family, then drive back on monday. unfortunately, that means i have to miss the first-ever AT2 game on the new ice sheet at LoTech. but, there will be more games, only one wedding reception for Todd and Amy. congrats in advance, kiddos!

Now that they have so much ice, maybe they can start a parallel league, and let people choose: the Neanderthals league, and the "people who don't play hockey as an excuse to be a dickhead" league.
I think the "people who don't play hockey as an excuse to be a dickhead" league would have all of 3 teams in it: us, the Rebels and the Hounds.
Which would be okay. They're both fun to play against.
