hooray, Christie!
my brother's girlfriend gave her PhD thesis defense this past friday...yes, the 13th! i'm sorry i couldn't be there but i hear she gave a great talk. the official graduation is in june but now that the stressful part is over for her, i can bug her about moving back to california.
