random thoughts from my drive home
coming home after hockey practice last night gave me some time to think about anything and everything, as well as lots of random things. which is sometimes good, sometimes bad. amongst those thoughts:
- i love In 'N Out
- everyone thinks that their friends are the best, but i KNOW that mine are. my buddies rock. and rule.
- flares are cool looking, especially at nighttime. and they'd really complement Vivo's hair quite nicely.
- rrrreeeeee!
- i want a pet ferret (Jeff and Red - are they lots of work?)

Ferrets are Illegal in California thanks to the governator who vetoed a bill last year. "Carpetsharks", "Stretch-Rats", "Land Otters", "Very Small Cats" and "Long Tailed Guinea Pigs" aren't too much work, however. They are a TON of fun, and behave like kittens (get two of them so they can play). Although descented, they tend to smell a little bit (keep the litter box changed and the bedding clean) Check out the following links:

These sites will point you to where to buy, how to care and how to get around checkpoints when coming in from Nevada with a new fuzzie. The pet stores have fuzzie food (they eat special fuzzie-kibble).

Gwen and Eddie were like having to kittens pretty much. You'll have to go through your place and ferret proof it though, plugging up holes and putting things up out of reach. They'll get into the damndest spots and play with the wierdest stuff.
I recommend getting two youngins so they can grow up together and you can train them at the same time. Change the litter box, keep their bed clean and if your place is ferret proof you can pretty much let them run around unsupervised.
