whaaa happened?

first coed game last night since the GAB. felt good to skate around at Logitech again - not quite returning to the scene of the crime but close enough to make me feel nervous all day.

seems like the divisions have been re-balanced nicely and hopefully that will be policed during the season. it was really fun last night and a great bunch of people to play with. welcome, Pam!

i did manage to tweak my neck and thinking back to the game, i'm sure it was when "pops" from the other team (the Cheap Monkey Hounds, as we came to call them) got his feet all tangled up and took me down. boom goes the head on the ice, but not straight backwards. oh yes, this was on the side of my head, so now just the right side of my neck is sore. i'm sure sitting in front of the computer will do wonders for that.

i do have my new undergrad (Irene) coming in today so i can show her how to do some of my more menial yet very important tasks. i hope she's up to the task because training her will take 5 times longer than it will just for me to do this, but if she can do it well it'll save me lots of time.

*stretches neck*
