gotta love kids
my boss' daughter turns 3 today. she's been excited about her birthday for about a month now. my boss just told me that when she woke up, they sang "happy birthday" to her and the first thing she said was "i'm 3 years old. i don't need to use a sippy cup anymore." she has been "planning" her birthday party and decided who would be invited and where it would be. unfortunately, i can't go to her party on sunday (though i was invited!) but i am sure i'll hear stories about how cute she was.
in other kid news, i visited Lily and Axel last night. i really need to post some Axel pictures because he's just too darn cute. he's progressed from calling me "cheddah" to more of a "jeddah" which is in fact more confusing to me because sometimes it sounds like "daddaaa". but he did call for me repeatedly last night which was very exciting. we ran around the house, crawled under tables, threw things down the stairs (okay, that was more him than me), ate grilled cheese, played some more, and overall had a great time. at least i hope he did because i know i did!
