"do not be an idiot"
that's all that i wrote in my little planner at work (that reminds me what i need to do each day). after yesterday - i will spare you the details - i almost completely took the day off from bench work and sat at the computer to work on figures for papers we're attempting to submit. that's right: no pipetting, no reagent making, nothing. i would have gone stir crazy sitting at my desk all day but was helped out by a seminar and lab meeting in the afternoon.
i'm planning just a brief appearance in lab tomorrow before heading out to do some shopping for fun.
then it's time to get back on track on sunday, when i plan to make the cryostat my biznatch.
