woohoo!
well, the doctor says that i'm good to go. in his words, the joint (at least bone-wise) is 98% healed. he says that the hardware in there is pretty much not doing anything at this point. the only reason to take it out would be to give him $800, but we both agreed that he doesn't need it. :-)
i told him i wanted to try skating at the end of the month, he said "sure, go for it!" woohoo!
obviously, i will be cautious, probably more so than i am even consciously aware. i'll wear a thin wrap, more for my brain than for my ankle. i'll wear the ankle strappy things that i used to, again probably more for my brain than for my ankle.
i am so excited that i could just try my skates on tonight. which is precisely what i plan to do. maybe i'll even feel well enough (ankle wise and health wise) to try a public skate next week. woohoo!
in case i didn't mention it yet, woohoo!
