whaaa happened?

thanks to Karen B (breaker of both ankles...yikes!) who informed me that by being a member of USA Hockey, i am entitled to their insurance benefits. i had completely forgotten that USA Hockey had insurance coverage, but after looking into it more, it seems like i might be able to get reimbursed for all of the copayments i've made due to the GAB. that would be great, because it's added up to quite a tidy sum thus far.

the major stumbling blocks will be getting signatures - i think i need the LIAHL director to sign the form, and when i'm going to get that done is a question i can't answer. the sooner the better, i guess. but it might mean taking time off of work to drive to get a signature...ack!

assuming i do get reimbursed for all of this, i could be good and send the money to the bank, but that's not likely. i already have a shopping list:

1) rollie hockey bag. while i love the one i have (from Justin - heyyyyy, brother) it does not have wheels, and i am pretty sure these will be essential next year in Vegas.

2) new hockey pants. i've wanted these since before the GAB and hey, new models might be out now. or old models may be on sale.

3) stick bag.
