most of my time is being spent lying down. in bed. on the couch in the living room. on the couch in front of the TV. on the couch in the backroom. (my parents like, er, love couches!)
and not lying down on my side, as i love to do, but on my back with my left leg elevated. as you can see below...

heh, i like as to on the couch too!
i hope that you've learned to de-elevate slowly by now? i was well elevated one time and tried to stand up quickly and @#$%& OW! i thought my ankle was about to 'splode!

yeah, those first few weeks of "blood rushing to the swollen area really really fast" when i got up too fast just totally sucked. they were teh suck.
